Danganronpa: IT'S SHOWTIME! is an in-progress English fan game created by American developer AquariusBat. The game currently contains a prologue and three completed chapters.

Creation and Development[]
Pre-Development History[]
Danganronpa: IT'S SHOWTIME! is a visual novel made in Ren'Py by AquariusBat and inspired by the official Danganronpa series, which began development in January of 2020. September 15, 2020[2].
Release[]
The Prologue was officially released on September 15th, 2020, and on September 29th, 2020, AquariusBat uploaded an update video to her YouTube channel, impressed by the positive responses the Prologue received. In this video, she also clarified that Danganronpa: IT'S SHOWTIME! would not be including voice acting and gave an estimate for a December release date for Chapter 1.
On December 18th, 2020, Chapter 1 was released. On March 2nd, 2021, a second update video was published, estimating that both Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 would be released by the end of the year. This update video also announced a handful of bug fixes and quality of life changes to the game, such as improvements to the truth bullet selection system within the trial and green tutorial text in the game. The described improvements were implemented in Chapter 1, Version 1.1, which was released on March 9th, 2021.
On August 10th, 2021, Chapter 2 was released, followed by Chapter 3 on October 21st, 2021. On November 5th, 2021, a third progress update video was uploaded. In this video, AquariusBat announced that the remainder of Danganronpa: IT'S SHOWTIME! would be uploaded all at once and that progress on Chapter 4 was at roughly 43% completion.
